The Community Arts Project is active in outreach within the community and is always looking for new ways to bring art experiences to those who may not usually have access to the arts. Throughout the history of our children's programming we have participated in many programs in the area, including events at Smithville Park in Cornelius, the Solomon House, One Neighborhood, various church events, and collaborations with other non-profits. Many programs bring art to school children and families at local festivals and community events.

The Community Arts Project serves area families at risk by providing scholarships to children who might not otherwise be able to participate. CAP will provide assistance to as many children requesting scholarship assistance as is possible and as far as our fundraising efforts and class registrations will allow.
